"I am not a yoga person. I've tried other types and just didn't get much out of it. Iyengar has a physicality that was much more challenging and is a very good compliment to my horseback riding. In March of 2015 I fell off a horse and shattered my tibia in a Pilon fracture. When the cast finally came off and I was weight bearing I started with a Pilates coach to help me get back strength and flexibility. She mentioned that I might like to add Iyengar Yoga to my routine and suggested I contact a studio in Midtown, which I did. They hooked me up with Rhonda and I could not have had a better match. She was always conscious of my still healing injury and knew when to push and when to back off. I try and take everything in life with a sense of humor and Rhonda totally got me. There was lots of laughter as well as learning and so much physical improvement.
